RENOVATION of OLD BUILDING on 7TH STREET

The building down the road a piece from us at 824 W. 7th Street is being renovated.They have done a good job on it and the outside appears nearly done.

WAITING PATIENTLY for TATTOO

It's early and I've allready picked todays Hot Hottie but shoot that only means there could be more to come.This guy was so anxious to get his Tattoo that he showed up an hour before opening.The gift shop opens at noon but 7th Street Tattoo opens at 1:00 p.m. He came in the store browsed around and showed me his Tattoo that was on his right upper arm that he designed .He was so proud of it.He was having some stuff added to it today and the words FAITH put somewhere.He was a nice kid with a super personality.The back of his shirt says FIEND for LIFE.

HOT RODS in LITTLE ROCK

Quite a few Hot Rods were seen around town today.Saturday being our busiest day prevented me from getting many pictures.I did venture down 7th street to Broadway and caught this Green Monster.

VIRGEL , LAUGHTER & 2 HOTTIES

Virgel the guy in picture by his lonesome had a light stroke about a month ago.He is recovering nicely.He and a couple of his buddies and friends of TWISTED stopped by for some laughter.It's always good to see them.

Tonights HOT GUYS on 7th Street award goes to the 2 Hotties looking at Tattoo Art in the Tattoo Shop.

SQUEEZE ME

I am a Coffeeholic.I can almost always be seen with a nice hot cup of black java.Dr. Pepper is my soda of choice.My grandfather on my father's side was a Dr. Pepper Luver.I acquired a taste for it back in the early 60's.Last night I tried the Newer variation of Sierra Mist you know the one with the Lemon Squeeze.I actually liked it more than I thought I would.It is sparkly and refreshing and not so sweet.I'm not to sure how much stock you place in the Soda review of a Coffee drinker but hey try it for yourself you just might like it.

WE'RE ALL ANGELS , STU MADDUX & CINEMA PRIDE

As I have previously mentioned the Arkansas GLBT Film Festival is June 23rd and 24th.Stu Maddux is coming to Little Rock to take part in this important event.Stu is the Director of "Bob and Jack's 52 year Adventure".Stu is the good looking man to the far right in the picture.This picture was recently taken at the World Premiere showing of "We're All Angels" directed by Robert Nunez.He is the one in the blue shirt.The Blond on the far left is Jason sorry but I do not know his last name and the guy in the center is DeMarco leaving just one who we shall call mystery man.We are hoping Stu will have time to stop by the store Monday June 25th for a DVD signing around 2:oopm before he has to board his plane to head home."Bob and Jack's 52-year Adventure" is one of the best gay films I have ever seen.If you would like a copy of this DVD come by the store and get Stu to sign a copy.If it is to where he runs out of time for a signing we are hoping to get a few copies signed to sell later.I highly suggest you seeing this film.It is a beautiful love story of 2 men who have been together 52 years.

FUNKO & LAND of the LOST SLEESTAKS

FUNKO announced today it will be bringing us Collector Nerds SLEESTAK in a 7 inch Wacky Wobbler Bobble-Head and a larger 12 inch Vinyl Figure with movable arms.You may remember this intelligent and peaceful reptilian creature from that show in the early 70's LAND OF THE LOST.This is a great addition to the FUNKO 2007 line-up of soon to be released collectibles.

CHADILLAC : TATTOO SHOP WORKER

In one picture our HOTTEST tattoo shop worker Chadillac is talking to someone on his cell phone with his back turned while rubbing his belly.I'm not quite sure what this thing about rubbing your stomach while talking with your girlfriend or boyfriend is all about.In the other picture Chadillac and Cliffton discuss the death of a girl at our intersection a couple of weeks back.Chadillac is covererd from neck to toe in Tattoos and has several piercings as well.

ALL the WAY from DETROIT

Roaming our neighborhood this evening was this guy from Detroit Michigan.He was just passing through Little Rock and chose our corner to Eat Pizza at Vino's and Shop at Twisted and Browse through 7th Street Tattoo.

what's better than a ROOT BEER FLOAT ?

A Free Root Beer Float.We enjoyed the Free Give Away from Sonic tonight.The Sonic closest to our store was a mad house making it hard to even get in the parking lot.Amazing what a Free Root Beer float will do for your business.

HELEN MOORE

My mother's aunt passed away last night.Her name was Helen Moore.She was the sister of my mother's dad.I liked and loved Aunt Helen.She was a good person.Her husband George had passed away many years ago.She had 2 children a daughter Nancy and a son George Jr.George Jr. is a little person.It was Helen and Jr as we all call him that lived together in the same house after Uncle George left us.She lived a good long life and I will miss her.I do have many memories of her as we had many family gatherings over the years.It was 19 months ago that my father's dad passed away.It was during that time I discovered I don't handle death of people I really care about very well.I cried uncontrollably for a couple of months after that.Aunt Helen is one of those people who has had great influence over me.She set a great example of how one should live a life.I admired her and truely appreciate the fact I knew her.I did cry this morning upon hearing the news.

2 in my BLURRED VISION SERIES

I have been photographing things the majority of my life.I think my parents gave me my first camera some 45 years ago.I have a series I call BLURRED VISION.I purposely try to blurr the image to make the viewer have to work harder to decipher what it is who it is and possibly what deeper meaning it may have.These are 2 of those in the series and they both tell a story.It's your story.Only I know the real story.

WALKING is GOOD for the BODY and EYES

People have really been out in force the past few weeks WALKING and BICYCLING around our store in the Downtown part of Little Rock.The photo shows 2 of the FIREMEN from the Central Fire Station getting in some good exercise and showing those legs off.

29TH & GAY : where is your life going?

Having watched 2 gay themed movies earlier this week both being duds in my opinion it was a pleasant surprise to watch and like 29TH & Gay this morning.The star is searching for happiness.His happiness is a job that is rewarding and fullfilling and a boyfriend and since he doesn't date much or have any luck in that department just about any boyfriend could do.He is 29 going on 30.His friends and ex school mates are all successful either in jobs or in relationships or both.His mom is supportive but ready for him to get with it.It is a fun movie.Watch this movie and enjoy.

CUSTOMERS and/or FRIENDS

In business you have customers and sometimes those customers become friends or they were friends and become customers or something of that sort.This guy who shall remain nameless stopped in for the second time this week.He has been a friend for many years and a customer as well.I can't quite remember which came first.He doesn't get to come by much but since his bf had to go to Memphis he has a little freedom.His bf's aunt was with him though so only a little freedom...LOL.It was good to see him.

7TH STREET TATTOO

The Tattoo Shop in my building called 7TH STREET TATTOO is an awesome place to get a Tattoo or piercing or just to get an eyeful.These photos show one of the tattoo artist leaning on the wall talking on his cell phone and then the gray shirt dude just had to play with his belly exposing his waistline and then a really hot guy appears to be cruising a bald headed man.

MATT : GAY and HOMELESS

Matt is a guy who lives on the streets of Little Rock.He comes by the store often mostly looking for money to support whatever habit it is that he has.It might just be survival such as food.Tonight I gave him one of our new shirts and a belly full of food.He would have rather had money I'm sure.He is one of many of the guys on the street.He seems for the most part to be be a good guy.Some how he has just been sucked into this homeless living on the street thing and can't seem to escape it.The one picture shows the front side of MATT modeling our shirt and the other picture shows MATT hitting the street again as he leaves.

JUST a COUPLE of GOOD OL' GALS

I've known these 2 gals a good number of years.They have always been supportive of many events including Pride Fest.They come by the store quite often and shop.While the money they spend is nice it is really just great that they show support to so many in so many ways.They brought their pooches to Pride Fest 2007 and had a good time.They are 2 of the Goodest Gals in the Gay Community.

FULL HOUSE on the ENTERTAINMENT SIDE

I was stuck on the Vending side of the Festival all day so didn't get but a glimpse of the Stage side where the Entertainers performed but it was a packed house all seats taken and lots of folks standing all around.It was a good turnout.A big increase over last years pride turnout.A super big thanks to all the organizers of this years Pride Festival.

A FEW ARKANSAS HOTTIES STOPPED BY THE TWISTED BOOTH

A couple of nice looking guys browsed by our booth at Pride Fest.One wearing a shirt that said I NEED GOOD HEAD and the other wearing a shirt saying THINK LONG AND HARD.I can't advertise to the fest goers that I sell jock straps but these 2 young hot guys can come wearing clothes that plants ideas that makes my heart beat faster than a Indy Race Car.

Norman Jones , Boy Toyz and Legs

The Discovery Disco and Backstreet Bar owner made a quick run through the vender area... so quick i liked to have missed him.I did catch a shot of his backside but then most of you have seen him a thousand or two times.In this photo he has a blue ballcap on and has his hand resting on his boy toyz shoulder.They both have Hot Looking legs though.
