GLBT FILM FESTIVAL KICKS OFF

With all the 70 Stu Maddux pictures I took so far this week this is my personal favorite.I think its the setting of the Door and the Poster and the way the light is cast.It also most likely invokes a curiosity as to what is going on that gives Stu that look.You want to know as much as Stu what Ashley and Amos are up to.

CONWAY PRIDE FESTIVAL

I went to Conway with STU MADDUX and AMOS LASSEN to March in the Conway Parade and attend the Pride Festival.I gave away 100 bags filled with all sorts of pride goodies... FLAGS,KEY CHAINS,MAGNETS,BUTTONS etc.I also took many pictures here are a few.Enjoy.

STU MADDUX arrives in LITTLE ROCK

I made it out to the airport today with Ashley and Amos to pick up movie director STU MADDUX.He flew in for the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival this weekend.These are a few pictures I took at the airport and at A TWISTED GIFT SHOP.

DEMPSEY FILM GROUP on 7TH STREET

Dempsey Film Group was on 7th street today filming a commercial for MEINEKE MUFFLERS.The Tattoo part of our building was the setting.In one of pictures you see a guy with a plate of lunch on his lap he is one the main characters of the commercial.He is talking to one of our customers Robert Justice who thought he might score a date.Didn't happen.

Many Images today a ... Chalkboard at TWISTED entrance announcing STU MADDUX dvd signing and then a Cowboy of sorts shopped for buttons. He wanted a certain Bill Clinton one that we had sold out of but he did find some others he liked.We constantly get people stopping out front in seek of directions.The news crews were at our corner this evening while a new poster promoting a new event at RHYTHM & BREWS MUSIC HOUSE was found on the telephone pole. ROBERT JUSTICE stopped by wearing a tannish T-Shirt and a big smile and

to rent a few movies.He got both EATING OUT and EATING OUT 2 : SLOPPY SECONDS.The new issue of SYNC hit the street with mentions of the Film Festival.

GLBT FILM FESTIVAL IS FAST APPROACHING

I ventured down to EASY STREET with AMOS LASSEN to get some pictures while AMOS and MICHAEL HENDERSON ( in blue shirt with maroon ballcap on) discussed this weekends film festival.MICHAEL is the brains behind EASY STREET and AMOS well he's the brains behind the festival.BOB and JACK'S 52 YEAR ADVENTURE MOVIE POSTER can be seen in EASY STREET'S window.The other picture is the screen where in a few nights all the wonderful movies that have been selected to be shown at this year's festival will be seen by a standing room only crowd.

WHEN DARKNESS FALLS & THE BEST OF CARE

I experianced a double dose of fright early this morning.I watched WHEN DARKNESS FALLS first and while I am usually not a fan of this genre of film it was just bad enough and cheesy enough to get a giggle or two out of me.The actors are all eye appealing and easy to watch but really don't have many acting skills.I guess thats kinda what one expects from a zombie movie.If bad acting and the walking dead are your thing WHEN DARKNESS FALLS is a must see.I continued on with THE BEST OF CARE.While the acting in this movie was 1000% better than the first movie I watched I didn't like this movie at all.The story is a sucky kinda story where when your faced with the option of just leaving and getting away or sticking around when your miserable in your situation to the point of killing someone you care about because the pain is to great you stay and eventually murder.It really made no sense to me.Both movies are packaged together on one disc and recently released.

MY FATHER : THERAL MORGAN

My father was born in 1934 and died in 1980.He has been gone 3 more more years than i had him in my life.Father's Day reminds me about my dad but the truth is I think about him often and visit his resting place quite frequently.Happy Father's Day Dad.

The Sex Movie

I just got through watching The Sex Movie.It was quite good.The four main characters gave strong performances.This movie will not be out on DVD until October 21 2007.I highly recommend this film.It is a very frank discussion on sex and relationships by the characters representing 1)a straight man 2)a gay man 3)a straight woman and 4)a gay woman.Feel free to visit the films official website www.thesexmovie.com/ .
