Memorial Day which use to be called Decoration Day is suppose to be the Day we honor those who have died serving our country in combat.I served in the Military for 10 years.I was a Soldier in the Army and I was Gay.A lot of gay people have served in the military or have relatives who have died in service to this great nation.Having served in the Army for 10 years and having that attraction to the Military Uniform my heart goes out to all soldier's living and dead.I have chosen to support our Soldiers of today by adopting one of them through a wonderful organization called SOLDIERS ANGELS check them out at http://soldiersangels.org/ .The soldier I adopted happens to be in Iraq and his name is Nathaniel.I send him a care package every 3 - 4 weeks. It's really a very small and easy thing to do.
Pending for payment.

Thank you, for your service to our country.
And Hello, from a fellow Angel:)
I agree, adopting a soldier, or even just writing letters for the Letter writing team, is such a small thing to do,
and I have been so unexpectedly and richly rewarded, with the wonderful people I have met because of it.
