SEAN and HELLO : HOMELESS in the FREEZING COLD

It has turned out to be the coldest night this winter season tonight.They are saying like a low of 15 or something close to it.I walked out side our front door at around 8 P.M. and saw Sean and his Dog Hello.He walked over to me and asked if I knew a place where he get a cup of coffee.I told him a few spots but then offered him a cup as I always have some brewing.He then went on to tell me he had just got into little rock off the freight train(that means hobo style I think) and had tried getting into a shelter but no place would accept the dog.He then asked me what day our trash dumpster is picked up because he would probably crash inside of it if they were not to dump it in the morning.He did not want to be inside the dumpster when they dumped it.I offered to let him stay in our place for the night.Sean and Hello are in their sleeping bag snoring away as we blog the night away.I fed him some chicken and broccoli and banana pudding before he passed out.He said he hadn't slept in 3 days so no telling how long he will be out but with the dog it will probably be when she needs to go tinkle.I tried getting to the bottom of why he is living on the streets traveling from town to town on freight trains in the freezing cold but all he told me was "at this point I don't have much of a choice".He's actually extremely nice looking and well mannered.He asked if maybe I could give him a ride to the truck stop in the morning so he could try and hop a ride so I will take a few more pics and blog more about Sean and Hello later today.

WAVEY DAVEY and HIS PUDDING RECIPE

I finally got around to making the Banana Pudding from the recipe on Davey Wavey's Blog.It came out quite good considering I made it at work and in between customers.It seems to be a little to much whipped creamy.I think the next time I make it I will not use as much heavy cream as it calls for or maybe make more of the pudding before folding the Cream and Pudding together so it has a more puddingy texture.The taste is great with the peperidge farm chessman's instead of the nilla wafers.I opted for an assortment of chocolate and vanilla chessman's.Click on the post title to go to Davey's Blog if your interested in the recipe.Davey's Blog is worth a look at even if your not into pudding.

After a quick shower,we all went to the sauna.Then,after sweating in there for about twenty minutes,we went to the hot tub and frolicked like teenagers.

I had to go the post office Friday before opening the store and as I approached I caught a glimpse of something yellow.Chris was saying on his blog a couple weeks back how the yellow had disappeared.I snapped a picture from a distance and then when I got closer I saw a very beautiful yellow rose.Strange how it is that only one flower remains out of all those plants and for it to be in such great condition.Chris, I love your blog ,so this yellow rose is for you and your great looking behind.

MERRY CHRISTMAS MOM

The marker tells me my mom passed away just over 6 months ago at the age of 69.I can't process it in time.It has shook one of the main pillars of my foundation to the point I feel I could tilt and fall at any moment.I do some how manage to get through each day.I have good days and bad days for sure.This blog helps as do my many other projects.Today I broke down in tears a couple of times but then this is my first Christmas without her.That's me on the back of the marker WAYNE as I am Dennis Wayne Morgan her son from her first marriage.My sister Darlene died when I was 15 and my real father died when I was in the Army in my 20's.Shaunna and Douglas are my Step Fathers kids from his first marriage.David and Gregory are the 2 boys that my Mom and Step Father brought into our lives.We are a close and loving family by all accounts.I will be traveling a short 75 minute drive to my brother David's house to have Christmas dinner with my step father and one of my brothers and his family.I was there Thanksgiving as well.I miss my Mom very much and hope her Christmas is special whatever she is doing today.She loved Christmas more than any one I have ever known.
