The Leather Club

A new leather club has formed in Little Rock and to kick things off a meet and greet has been scheduled for June 26 th 2010.The club will meet at 9:30 pm in the loft area of Sidetracks Bar after a Cook Out from 6-9pm. I watched the Mulligans last night and enjoyed it.It is a family drama.I found it to be well written and thought the performances were strong.The cast includes Charlie David,Thea Gill, Dan Payne,Derek James and Grace Vukovic.I highly suggest you watch this film.

OLIVER! at THE WEEKEND THEATER

Here are a few images I have taken the past couple of days as The Weekend Theater prepares to open its June run of OLIVER!.Oliver! based on Charles Dickens story Oliver Twist was brought to the british stage as a musical in 1960.Charles Dickens wrote the story in 1838.Lionel Bart added music and lyrics in 1960 for the stage production.I have always enjoyed a little Oliver! every now and then so I am excited to see what The Weekend Theater does with the it.

SAVE ME a film by ROBERT CARY starring CHAD ALLEN

I watched SAVE ME last night while eating supper and enjoyed it.My family and friends never tried changing who I was while growing up so it is always interesting to watch films with those kind of story lines.While the subject matter has to do with the christian retreat curing young men of their gay affiction it is really the superb acting from all the actors that makes this film special.Chad Allen,Robert Gant and Stephen Lang are powerful in their male roles.The best performance is by the female lead.Judith Light as Gayle runs the retreat with one of the best performances of the year.You really should see this film.It is a very moving film that was a joy to watch.

AMERICAN IDOL KRIS ALLEN CAME HOME plus FAVORITE PICS SOME SHIRTLESS

It was nice to have Kris Allen come home to central arkansas this week.It gave people a chance to focus on something fun instead of thinking about all the bad going on with the recession and swine flu and etc.Thousands got KRIS ALLEN flu this week and skipped school and work to come out and support Kris and to be apart of something fun and positive.As for me I have supported Kris from day one and have voted for him every week since the voting started.I estimate I have called in 3300 times since this season of American Idol began.I am a fan of Kris Allen.He is a nice guy and a nice looking guy whether he has his shirt on or off.I'm not quite sure I think he is techically the best singer but I do believe him to be tops in all the other areas that go into making one a top American Idol.He belongs in the top 3.He will be singing Apologize by One Republic this next week along with another song of his choice.I wish him well and hope to see him in the final 2.Here are a few pics of Kris some shirtless so enjoy.
