KILT KEWLNESS

Another way to stay Kewl this Hot summer is by wearing a Kilt.Their are many types of kilts these days for men that are truly manly enough to get away with it.You can go with the traditional scottish tribal plaids or the southern redneck camoflage.The redneck kilts are available in A TWISTED GIFT SHOP but we must insist you try it on before you buy it.Letting us take a picture is optional of course.The great thing about kilt wearing is it is tradional to not wear any underwear with them.This of course will help keep your body cooler in that particular area of the body and of course if your cooler there and your wearing your flip flops and your feet are cooler then you are well on your way to being as Kewl as you possibly can be.

Close to one fourth of your bodies sweat glands are located in your feet.As it is getting hotter than blue blazes in the Little Rock area it would be a good idea for you to start wearing sandals or flip flops.They allow your feet to breathe and be cooler which allows the rest of your body to feel cooler.A wide variety of very cool looking Flip Flops are available most everywhere these days.The important thing is to show those feet off.If your feet look to nasty to show off then you have even more reason to get busy now... clean those feet ...scrub them...spruce them up...make them eye appealing ...and buy yourself some hot looking sandals or better yet a pair of flip flops ... and let those feet work for you to keep your body feeling cooler all summer.We are on track to have one of the hottest summers ever so we should be seeing more skin than ever.Enjoy.

LITTLE ROCK CENTRAL FIRE STATION CELEBRATES MEMORIAL WEEKEND

Little Rock Arkansas's Central Fire Station is all decked out in it's RED,WHITE and BLUE finery this weekend for Memorial Day.They also have a POW MIA flag.The Central fire Station is located at 7th and Chester in the downtown area.This fire station is also known as STATION 1.It houses the administrative offices of the LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT and the INSPECTION/FIRE and TRAINING DIVISIONS.It also houses ENGINE 1 , ENGINE 8 , TRUCK 1 ,AS-1 (air supply),BOMB SQUAD 1,WATER TANKER 1 and BATTALION CHIEF 1.It's district includes most of DOWNTOWN and also the ARKANSAS STATE CAPITOL COMPLEX.

MILITARY DAYS in FULDA GERMANY

The Picture with this post shows me doing the Military Police thing.I was guarding the Main Entrance to the base in FULDA GERMANY on a snow covered day somewhere in the neighborhood of 27 years ago.I enjoyed my time in the Military and especially my time in Germany.It was so interesting to explore a new land and meet people who were so different from those living here in the USA.Fulda is a Most Wonderful and Very Beautiful Hidden Treasure of the planet.I have a friend who has posted a webshot album of the city showing a small portion of the architecture that can be found there.His name is Klaus and if you want to view his pictures of FULDA check out http://community.webshots.com/album/33959328sLNmuU .

Memorial Day and Soldiers Angels

Memorial Day which use to be called Decoration Day is suppose to be the Day we honor those who have died serving our country in combat.I served in the Military for 10 years.I was a Soldier in the Army and I was Gay.A lot of gay people have served in the military or have relatives who have died in service to this great nation.Having served in the Army for 10 years and having that attraction to the Military Uniform my heart goes out to all soldier's living and dead.I have chosen to support our Soldiers of today by adopting one of them through a wonderful organization called SOLDIERS ANGELS check them out at http://soldiersangels.org/ .The soldier I adopted happens to be in Iraq and his name is Nathaniel.I send him a care package every 3 - 4 weeks.It's really a very small and easy thing to do.

MR. BILL at ARKANSAS STATE CAPITOL

Mr. Bill ( no not bill clinton) was at the Arkansas State Capitol May 24Th for a look around.It was bound to happen sooner or later.It was just luck that Mr. Bill was returning from his week long stay over in TENNESSEE.Mr. Bill was seen at Nashville's United Record Pressing Plant (one of the nations last vinyl record pressing plants left in the country) and from there traveled to Lynchburg for some Jack Daniels before heading to Memphis to visit Graceland and enjoy the Memphis in May Celebration.Somehow being so close to Little Rock and the State Capitol was to much for Mr. Bill to pass up.Mr. Bill never could pass up an adventure.You to can enjoy a tour of the State Capitol.Feel free to check out http://www.sos.arkansas.gov/index.html

DOUBLE - YOLKED EGGS or JUST YOUNG CHICKS

I always assumed Double Yolk Eggs were a Rare Thing in Life.The other night A Dozen Eggs were purchased at a local Kroger store.I put three of those Eggs in a pan to boil and went about my business to prepare the rest of the nights meal.I was not to surprised when I pealed the shell off the first egg and found a Double Yolk inside so I chopped the egg up and destroyed the evidence but then I pealed the second Egg and another Double Yolk and then I pealed the third Egg and I be dag gummed if another Double Yolk didn't appear.I wish I hadn't chopped the first Egg up but I did get a Picture of the other Two. STAR WARS , FUNKO & THOSE BOBBLY THINGS

I have mentioned before that FUNKO is one of my most favorite companies on this planet we all call earth.STAR WARS is also among my alltime favorite films.You can imagine how excited I was to learn that the Two forces had come together.Starting in July and continuing on for 2-3 years FUNKO will be giving us WACKY WOBBLER (bobble-heads for you that don't know what a WACKY WOBBLER is) and STAR WARS fans a selection of awesome collectible toys to add to our collections.If you haven't heard of FUNKO you can check them out at http://www.funko.com/ . One of the Great things about owning a 21 year old store in the Downtown area of Little Rock is the People you run across in your day to day operations.This afternoon I met a gentleman who has recently moved to the area from Louisiana.He is putting on a show on the ARKANSAS QUEEN RIVERBOAT friday MAY 25 , 2007.He plans on bringing a NEW ORLEANS flavor to Little Rock via the entertainment venue of musical talent.This particular CRUISE is NEW ORLEANS RHYTHM CONSPIRACY featuring performances by MARDI GRAS INDIANS.I urge everyone that may be able to support this endeavor to do so.It should be a FUN time on the RIVER.Feel free to check them out at www.arconventionsandevents.com

MEN in UNIFORM

FIREMAN, POLICEMAN and MEMS WORKERS were all gathered at our intersection 7th and Chester in downtown Little Rock to assist in the CSI type investigating of a accident that occured tonight.A female pedestrian was hit while attempting to cross the street and was struck by a car driven by a elderly gentleman.

BLAKE on AMERICAN IDOL

I have done my part to keep Blake in the competition.364 votes and 2 more hours of my life.Why does he deserve to stay you may ask.Well he has shown lots of improvement and a ton of creativity and the boy can sing and entertain.Melinda and Jordin were good singers 11 weeks ago and are still good singers but they haven't shown me the ability to adapt old tunes and modernize them in a way that makes them appeal to a new generation of music listeners.Blake can not only sing the song but tries to do more and usually succeeds.Melinda and Jordin are to ordinary and safe for me.Good Luck Blake.

GREEN means GO

Given the Choice I will choose the Path of the Green Light everytime.You can sit back and take it as it is and do nothing or You can get up off your ass and GO for it.I try to attack each day as a day in which change is possible.Be nice to someone or help someone in need or help spread the word whatever your word may be.It's great that the Eureka Springs city council passed a DPR domestic partner registry but to be honest the people who were against it and those that hate still hate and are still against it.Only we can invoke change in the minds of those people.Until we accomplish that we haven't accomplished a thing.We are still on the other side until We are all on the same side.We can force the DPR on them but We can't make them like it or understand it until We all move forward.It can be something as simple as a GREEN light.

LUBE UP WITH THE SWISS NAVY

Well we can't let the Marines with their GUN OIL have all the Glory.We are now stocking a Lubricant from those SWISS NAVY BOYS.The SWISS NAVY BOYS were nice enough to send a case of little samples to give away at the RIVER MARKET PRIDE FEST next month.They make both water based and the more popular silicone base lubricants.We are carrying both types.Stop by the store and buy some today and just see what the NAVAL GUYS are all about.

Having been the Communities premier Lubricant outlet for the past 21 years has been FUN to say the least.Lot's of good slicky stuff comes and goes and lately the popular ones are EROS , BOY BUTTER and GUN OIL.The picture shows a friend of mine ADAM L.
