In a stubborn mood , I can be an inspiration for any ass , but some mules still love me.
THINGS I'VE HEARD
"If you need to shave, and you still collect baseball cards, you're gay. If you're a kid, the cards are keepsakes of your idols. If you're a grown man, they're pictures of men."
Here are a few images from the past 2 weeks. These are pictures I took but didn't use on any of the sites I post pictures at.These are the leftovers.I really like some of these though.I just didn't use them so here they are.
It was nice to have Kris Allen come home to central arkansas this week.It gave people a chance to focus on something fun instead of thinking about all the bad going on with the recession and swine flu and etc.Thousands got KRIS ALLEN flu this week and skipped school and work to come out and support Kris and to be apart of something fun and positive. As for me I have supported Kris from day one and have voted for him every week since the voting started.I estimate I have called in 3300 times since this season of American Idol began.I am a fan of Kris Allen. He is a nice guy and a nice looking guy whether he has his shirt on or off.I'm not quite sure I think he is techically the best singer but I do believe him to be tops in all the other areas that go into making one a top American Idol.He belongs in the top 3.He will be singing Apologize by One Republic this next week along with another song of his choice.I wish him well and hope to see him in the final 2.Here are a few pics of Kris some shirtless so enjoy.
Rabbit Hole will be opening at The Weekend Theater this week.Andy Hall will be directing and he is seen painting pieces for the set.It would seem directing is not his only talent.
Like I said before going to Star Bar I went to see another new bar just not the newest but still fairly new.SIX TEN was fun but with a much smaller crowd than Star Bar.I would guestimate 20-25 patrons.I knew quite a few of them so was able to strike up conversations quickly and fit right in so to speak. The bartender was very nice and friendly and made a mean Washington Apple Martini.I usually drink a beer when going out but wanted to experiance the martini bar concept to its fullest.I mean why go to a martini bar if your not going to drink a martini. The Washington Apple Martini was very tasty.SIX TEN was closing 30 minutes after getting there so it was a quick pop in to see what it was all about before heading over to Star Bar.It was nice to visit with friends and customers of my shop outside of the shop.I downed 2 of the Martini's and enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar.Had they not been closing I could have stayed a bit longer.I will visit again. The security guy was/is hot and comes by Twisted once in awhile. He offered to let me snap a picture so of course I did.I may have to go back this Saturday just to see him again.
I decided to check out Little Rock's newest bar last Saturday night.I had visited Star Bar once before when it was closed so was eager to see it with people in it.I don't visit bars often but must say it was an enjoyable evening.I had actually closed up shop 30 minutes early so that I could go to another new bar called SIX TEN first. It is commonly called the martini bar as it specializes in those drinks.I will talk more about Six Ten in the next post so after a 45 minute stay at Six Ten it was time to head to Star Bar.Star Bar had a large and energetic crowd.I ordered a Washington Apple Martini because that was what I had been drinking at SIX TEN.The drink was not as tasty as SIX TEN'S but tasted stronger.I think I may have had to many Martini's because my favorite part of the evening was sitting in the restroom lounge area staring into this huge mirror watching people do things behind frosted glass doors...lol.Well you would have to be experiance it to understand. One of the pics shows a couple of guys sitting in that lounge area.
