X-FILES RETURN to BIG SCREEN

One of my all time favorite TV series is coming back to the BIG SCREEN.DAVID DUCHOVNY and GILLIAN ANDERSON both have agrred to reprise their roles as FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY.It is my understanding that this movie will not have any of those famous "mythology" storylines with the Aliens from the TV series.They are keeping the Title and Plot a secret for now.It has been 10 years since the last movie and 6 years since the TV show ended.

DARING BELARUS BI

Mike can most of time be found racing his motorbike,his drag scooter as he calls it.He actually took second place in the dutch championships this past year.He is very cute and likes to have lots of fun doing daring things.The picture shows one of his other activities. HILLARY FAN STRIKES DOWNTOWN LITTLE ROCK

I spotted the HILLARYMOBILE at the downtown post office yesterday while dropping off some letters to be mailed.I decided to snap a few pictures.The drivers name is Gary and he and his partner have been together for a good number of years and have frequented my store a few times over the years.He claims to have never been political before but decided to get on the HILLARY bandwagon.

FRED PHELPS to PICKET HEATH LEDGER MEMORIAL SERVICE

It was announced on that God Hates Fags website of his.The one thing I take away from this is "they" also recognize the impact Heath Ledger had on the straight communities perception of us gay people by his doing the Brokeback Mountain film.It scares them to think he might have actually wittled away at the gay hate,so now they are going to get back at him by picketing his service and of course it gets "them" a little publicity.

FATHER KNOWS

I wanted to watch a movie last night, while eating supper ,and had thought, I might watch Brokeback Mountain (I have only seen it once) but decided on a DVD that we have had in our stores library for a few months, but kept passing over.FATHER KNOWS did not get the best of reviews, so when you realize a movie is not going to be OSCAR worthy and you approach it as that and just try to enjoy what it has to offer, you can have a good time.It is strong on good looking guys and even stars CORT DONOVAN.The story is told from his characters view point.He loves a guy named Ira but just isn't willing to deal with all of that and wants to explore life first, so it takes him a long time, something like 15 years ,to get back to the love of his life.I thought the strongest acting performance was with the foriegn exchange student ,who is very convincing as a coniving slut.I did find the movie to be a bit choppy and the father looked almost as young as his son and I hated the mother's performance.I did laugh at times and found the story to be a heartfelt journey worth seeing.It is directed by TOBY ROSS who has made numerous films over the years.Most of them are porn movies and sometimes I think it may be hard for a porn filmmaker to make that transition to other entertainment fare.

THE MECHANIC LOVES HIS UNDERWEAR

Since it is so friggin cold out tonight something like 21 degrees right now I'm going to bring you a story from the summertime to heat things up a little.I was traveling up to Minnesota to take part in a bowling tournament with some bobblehead collector buddies last August.I made as far as Saint Louis when my truck started acting a little funny.I'm no mechanic but I thought I had better find one before going any further.It was a really warm day,and my air conditioner was not working properly,every time I stopped,it felt hotter in the truck than outside of it.I had past by a couple of garages that didn't look to appealing,then I found Tony's.A simple sign hung over the entrance that said TONY'S TIGER SHOP.It was only a small operation most likely a one man kind of place.You know the place where the owner is glad to have an extra customer and knows his job well.I got out of my truck and went inside and looked for the owner but found it empty.I then went around the back of the garage where there was a huge pile of large tires.It was in these tires that stood one of the most beautiful young men I had ever laid eyes on."What d'ya need,buddy?"I heard him say loudly.He started climbing out of the tires and walking towards me.I was confused for a bit as I was needing a mechanic and I did want a good one and this guy was only a kid of maybe 22.He had really short hair and when he looked at me his eyes sparkled.He was wearing dirty jeans and a blue short sleeve T-Shirt.I was finding it hard to concentrate and kept imagioning what he would look like with those jeans off and maybe standing in front of me with some nice undies.My eyes kept soaking in the sight,and the bulge in front of his jeans indicated Tony was loaded.I had watched him as he climbed out of those tires and his buns had looked hard and firm.I could feel myself getting hard and was trying desperately not to let him know it."I...I want to be seviced,"I blurted out in confusion,but then,realizing how it must of sounded,I corrected myself and said "Well not me personally,you understand--my truck."He smiled and laughed showing that he had beautiful white teeth."Well I'm here to please,"he replied.

SURVEILLANCE 24/7 walls have eyes

I have just finished watching SURVEILLANCE 24/7 WALLS HAVE EYES which will be released here in the USA on march 4th 2008.This thriller stars TOM HARPER as ADAM, a gay teacher who embarks on a one night stand with a guy who sleeps with a prince on a regular basis.The guy turns up dead the next day and the bad people who are wanting to keep a gay scandal from rocking the royal household are after ADAM suspecting he has the evidence proving a gay relationship between the guy and the prince.The best part of the movie is the way the handheld camerawork merges with surveillance footage to provide clear close ups and not so clear long shots of ADAM and his trek above and below the streets of London.The picture of the DVD cover showing both the front and back is the USA artwork while the other one is the european version.The movie was called SURVEILLANCE there while here it has had the 24/7 added.The other picture shows ADAM and his trick before they start the one night stand.It is worth seeing.

GLOBAL

It is interesting to me to see where the majority of my blog readers live.I have only had the new sitemeter for 10 days so this is not reflective of the lifetime of the blog.Given a little more time we may get another picture.

ORANGES

They are selling some good tasting ORANGES on the North Side of the State Capitol.When I went to the bank this morning I stopped and got a bag to help them out since it was below freezing and they are out there trying to get rid of them.I came back and immediately cut in to one and they are good and sweet.

NEW ARRIVALS

Well now that the distributors have starting getting stock back in the warehouses after the holiday season and inventories, we are starting to receive shipments in more frequently and with top notch titles.Here are a few that arrived this afternoon.Looks like some good ones in the bunch.Black Scorpion has been doing some good stuff so MAN ISLAND should be HOT and Motel Sex was real good so I hope MOTEL SEX 2 from DIRK YATES is at least as good as the first one.THE MEN I WANTED from LUCAS KAZAN is sure to be a winner as his always are.I prefer the TITAN titles to the TITAN FRESH SERIES but my customers like the FRESH ones so...Then DARE from FALCON is going to be typical FALCON.This Falcon title is Written and Directed by JETT BLACK and stars LIFETIME EXCLUSIVE MATTHEW RUSH.WTF does that mean?Will we be watching him in FALCON two zillion when he's eighty years old.Interesting how I have noticed a lot of the BIG stars are choosing to go independant and MATTHEW is going to work for Falcon till the day he dies.MICHAEL LUCAS gives us GIGOLO which I am sure is another great one.We also got in more copies of LA DOLCE VITA (not pictured)from MICHAEL LUCAS as we have been out of that great 2 parter.Another title in from DIRK YATES is UNCUT VERSION : THE SECOND COMING which is a SOLO JERKOFF release but they are all UNCUT MEN.Lots of good ones and not so good ones not pictured also so stop in this weekend if you get a chance.

I must confess that I'm not always turned on by the Construction Workers I see.It would almost appear that this guy just showed to play Construction Worker for the day.Oh I know "Today's only a try-out so we can see what you can do." is what the foreman had said earlier that morning.It was at the big construction site downtown with the taller buildings looming nearby.Across the large construction site was a tall temporary trailer that looked onto the whole scene.That's where the bossman watched his crew from.Be careful of Manny ,the big boss.He can be an ass,Stanley said as the newbie walked past.He will watch you from the trailer and dock you big time if he sees you fucking around.Jon, the new kid turned and saw Manny in his red plaid lumberjack shirt looking back at him from the trailer window.The day progressed and Jon worked hard trying to impress everyone on his first day."So what do you think of the new guy?" Things are moving quickly around me all the time.It seems like yesterday I was 49 and my Grandfather was still alive as was my Mother and my best Childhood friend who died the Sunday before Christmas at the age of 52 just one year older than me.I didn't blog about it at the time because it was the holidays and the first one without my Mom so...The five other deaths that occurred to people I knew well were sad and terrible but not like these three.At 49 I was not blogging which has been my therapy through it all.Things are moving quickly around me all the time.

MONDAY MOOD

Yes it is true that by all accounts I have every reason to be miserable.There is the lack of sleep,the long days at work only to be followed by another,inventory to finish and people to get over (problems that I won't go into here),and a beautiful sunny day out that I will be stuck inside to enjoy...but then in walks those infectious smiles and I know it's all worth it.
