It was refreshing to see him in another acting vehicle other than the Twilight Series.Don't get me wrong I love the Twilight Wolf Taylor but you just have to figure their is more to him than that.The reviews on this movie are not to flattering , but I didn't dislike it as much as most professional reviewers did.I actually sat through the whole film and enjoyed it never once thinking I had wasted my money.It's just not as bad as they make it out to be.It is true Taylor doesn't take his shirt off as much as he does in Twilight, which I found disappointing.I will agree with a few reviewers who questioned the Title Choice as at no point in the movie was their an Abduction or even a close Abduction.The bad dudes were killers not Abductors.

9th Annual ARKANSAS AIDS WALK 2011

Even though I have managed to stay HIV negative I attend the Arkansas Aids Walk to reflect and remember and support the cause.This was the 9th walk and I have been to 7 of them.I missed 2.This one had a good turn out and the walk was actually a walk.Sometimes it's a short walk but this one went for a ways.I enjoyed walking the distance and meeting some of the other walkers.

I never felt Cochran had a shot at winning the million dollars in his position on his old tribe.He managed to stay around till the merge but the truth is he was always in the bottom of the tribe rankings.His tribe mates just never gave him any respect.Cochran made it to the merge and jumped ship.It really was a smart move.He probably still isn't going to win and I think he knows that , but I think he can go to sleep at night knowing that people who treated him like shit the first half of the game aren't going to win either.

The last time I spoke of Survivor was the Season Opener and I had mentioned how a few cast members had caught my eye.I purposely haven't blogged about Survivor since because the first few episodes pretty much focused on Brandon Hantz and his Christian Beliefs and his "Creepy Nature".I didn't want to talk about Brandon in that respect.I am friends with Brandon on Facebook and get a much different take on who he is.It really came down to I was really disappointed in CBS for his edit and the character they made him out to be.We are now a few episodes in and we seem to have at least moved past the Creepy part anyways.I liked Brandon in his painted bra this week though and I'm sticking to the being past the Creepy part ... lol.

Now on to Ozzy and his Big Move or as I may call it Cochran and his Big Move.Everyone in Survivor land is all a buzz about Ozzy having his tribe vote him out just so that he can possibly beat Christine at Redemption Island and come back to the game helping his tribe in the number game as the merge approaches.As a hardcore Survivor fan and analyzer I Love me some Ozzy but you all know how I feel about returning players.They shouldn't be returning.So ... Why do I find myself wanting Ozzy to beat Christine and Return to the game.Well ... Because The move is so out there that I want to see it work and I want to see the drama that might result which leads me to another one of my favorite Characters from this season Cochran.Ozzy left his Hidden Immunity Idol in the hands of Cochran.Will Cochran give it back if Ozzy does return?I want to know and to know this Ozzy must return.Stephen Fishbach awarded Ozzy the fishy for his Big Move but I think Cochran came away the Big Winner.He not only has the Idol but also has Ozzy's trust.Ozzy would never have given him the Idol if he didn't trust him more than any of the others on their tribe.I knew the moment I saw Cochran that their was something.He is awkward and weak and doesn't fit in but their he is half way into the season holding the Idol as the merge is about to happen.I have noticed with Cochran he is more comfortable walking around with his shirt off as the pic I posted of him shows.No shirt and Confident.I remember my first post of season where he was afraid to disrobe to his undies in front of the others.He has come a long way.Just how far we have yet to learn.

I wasn't sure if I would blog much this Survivor Season.I never know it just sorta hits me or doesn't.I watched the first eppy last night and was delighted they spent so much time letting us get to know so many of the contestants.It looks like a great season ahead and I am hooked.Ozzy ended up on the tribe I wanted him on but I am now thinking after seeing the opening that he should have been on the other tribe to have a shot at the big money.He has played before not once but twice so getting the big bucks wouldn't be right anyways.

My heart tugged for Cochran last night.He really is out of his comfort zone and I can say this in the kindest way He will not win.I do hope he sticks around.I'm not through watching him yet.It was exciting to watch him disrobe and squirm about the other contestants seeing him in his translucent state.Some people wear "Pale" well and Cochran is one of them.He was the last one out of his clothes and his tribemates cheered him on as he entered the water.Cochran grew from this experience I have no doubt.Cochran is already a winner as he shot down one of his biggest fears.Then the immunity challenge rolls along and Cochran again shows a weakness in strength.We are learning he is Nerdy , he is Pale and he is not that Strong Physically.Cochran gets another big fear out of way.It can only get better from here.I am rooting for him to grow and overcome.

Dexter Williams came into my store a few times ,but I didn't know him well.When he did come in ,he was nice and friendly and always seemed happy and in a good mood.I hate that he died in what appears to be a night of partying with to many drugs and much alcohol.The weatherman survived , but must live the rest of his life with this death on his mind and will most likely lose his job over it.Dexter was a beautiful boy who liked to party and have fun.The weatherman also known in gay circles was forced to live a double life for fear of losing his job at KARK.I hate that in 2011 we gay people are still forced to hide who we are in order to keep certain jobs.The weatherman had he been able to be openly gay or bi or whatever might not had ended up in the hot tub and had society not put such a negative on gayness Dexter might have made different choices along the way involving drug usage.We don't know this to be true but being gay can be trying and difficult.I myself after a few years in the Army realized I couldn't work for the straight only club military and made the choice to open my own business and so being gay hasn't weighed on me like it has so many others I know.I only had to deal with my families non acceptance which slowly mellowed over the years but I had no workplace fears of losing a job.My heart goes out to Brett Cummins and Dexter's family who are on their way to Arkansas from Texas to make funeral arrangements.

While I thought James Franco was flat in his performance I think Andy Serkis deserves an Oscar Nomination for his stunning portrayal of Caesar.I liked the movie and found myself easily caring for all the characters.I was half way into the movie when I heard someone say "I don't know if I'm suppose to feel sorry for the humans or the apes." So true. Caesar suffers much abuse from the humans and John Lithgow as James Franco's Dad is brilliant as a sufferer of Alzheimers Disease.It is James Franco's quest to save his dying father that leads to him inadvertently granting apes the intelligence needed to start their revolution.You really should see this film as it is one of the best films this year and if you are a Planet of The Apes franchise fan it is a must see prequel.

It doesn't really matter if I believe they are guilty or innocent of the crime they were convicted of 18 years ago.Either way their young age at that time to me means 18 years served is long enough.I always felt the Death Penalty for someone that age was to much.I am glad they are free and hope they can find a way to peacefully integrate back into society.

While I keep waiting to get a glimpse of the cover art to 1313 : BigFoot Island as I do so love the title we can drool over 1313 : Wicked StepBrother.My StepBrother and HalfBrothers have always been very loving but in this movie it is The Wicked StepBrother enticing friends over for slaughter.Now back to 1313 : BigFoot.The movie probably has absolutely nothing to do with Larger than average size feet but still one can dream and of course we all know their will be plenty of hot looking guys parading around in their skivies even if their feet are just average so it's all good.We can always expect lots of hot guys in Undies in David's Movies.

I work 2 1/2 jobs , so I have little time to watch TV / Movies etc.When I choose a film to watch I want it to have a good story as told by a good director and acted by good actors and actresses or have Judson Birza parading around in his underwear for an hour and a half and then showering naked for 15 minutes..In other words I have little time for garbage. I had wanted to watch 1313 : Nightmare Mansion ever since one of its stars Judson Birza was a contestant on Survivor though and finally got around to doing so last night.It is a low budget film with lots of straight young men walking around in their underwear.I like straight boys that are comfortable enough in their looks and sexuality to parade around in nothing but tighty whities in homoerotic scenes , but is their any acting and story at all.My favorite character was the one who seemed to me to have the more complex problem and the longer hair.He had stole a game at the mall and someone else went to prison for it and that person then went on to kill himself while in prison.You see the 6 characters of 1313 are invited to the mansion because they are lost souls.The ringleader who invites the 6 up to the mansion is trying to resurect his dead mother so he can rule the earth as her prince.All he has to do is get all 6 invites to do as he wishes.Judson Birza's character has to kill someone before the night ends but he doesn't kill the person he was suppose to so all does end as planned for the princely wannabe.Wait .I think I described a plot and even though the acting was below par as it was obvious most of them had never acted before.It was good acting for first time efforts.I say rent it or buy it and watch it.Just have fun while watching it.

90102 Heartthrob Freddie Smith will be joining the cast of Days of Our Lives to play a gay character named Sonny.While still a secret I believe he will fall for the character Will Horton played by Chandler Massey.I have included a shirtless picture of Chandler showing his well developed chest.Unfortunately I don't think Freddie takes his shirt off much.Maybe that will change as they move forward with their gay storyline.Tune into Days of Our Lives and see where they take the story from the beginning.

I have had a few of you question my most previous post about Chris Hemsworth being "Pretty Cut".Some of you suggested it was a typo and that I meant to write Cute instead of Cut.I must admit to finding him both Cute and Pretty Cut.Pretty Cut is a term used by bodybuilders or those working out and shaping their bodies.If someone has been to the gym and worked out you might say to him ... I was able to watch Thor last night and enjoyed the Kenneth Branagh directed film.I hope they keep the same actors for the second installment so we can see the actors truly develope the characters ... in other words I saw great potential in their first effort.The Mighty Thor is powerful and arrogant and also reckless so he is banished to Earth to live amongst the Humans until he learns his way and becomes a true hero.The Mighty Thor is played by Chris Hemsworth and his enemy/sorta brother is played by Tom Hiddleston.My favorite quote from the movie is "You know for a crazy homeless person ... he's pretty cut."

I didn't talk about Survivor much this past season which Rob Mariano just won.I had wanted him to win in his first outing on Survivor.This was his fourth time playing.It is no secret that I am totally against players returning for a second chance or a third or a fourth so please Jeff lose Russell Hantz"s phone number.If you watched last nights finale you will understand.Anyways I am happy Rob finally won and I have always enjoyed watching him play even though I would prefer fresh faces each and every time.Matt Elrod was my other favorite player of this season.I would have loved to see Matt win that last duel and return to the game and eventually sit next to Rob in the finale.I think the vote would have been much closer and possibly a different outcome.Their was only two players in my opinion that deserved to win this season and that would be Matt and Rob.My heart ached for Matt as I watched him endure nearly a month of loneliness at Redemption Island but he seems to have come away from it in glorious fashion.Rob was hard on Matt and hard on him more than once so it's great to see them in friendly embrace.
